Conflict Management Coach & Advisor (French)

Purpose

The Conflict Management Coach Advisor (French) provides conflict coaching and conflict management advice on a part-time intermittent basis by telephone to clients across Canada.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond by telephone within 24 hours to calls from French language clients.
  • Use an interest-based, appreciative coaching model to coach employees and support them to reframe their conflict situation and evaluate, without judgement, steps for resolution.
  • Help employees assess workplace conflict situations and evaluate appropriate steps for resolution.
  • Translate learning materials into French.
  • Facilitate learning sessions online or in person, in French.

Qualifications

  • Flexible and available to respond intermittently to phone calls on short notice during weekly working hours.
  • Proficient in oral and written French.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of conflict management systems in the workplace, in unionized and non-unionized environments.
  • Demonstrated understanding of bullying & harassment legislation, policies, and reporting procedures.

Professional Designation

  • Med. or C.Med. an asset.
  • ACC or other coaching credentials an asset.

Education

  • University degree.
  • Training in coaching with an emphasis on conflict or personal communication.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in mediation and/or conflict coaching.
  • 3 years of experience working with workplace conflict.
  • Learning & Development facilitation experience an asset.
