Revised AOHS Act

Recent amendments to Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety Act were introduced in June 2018. Employers are now responsible for identifying, managing, investigating and monitoring workplace bullying in addition to harassment and violence.

Is your company ready to address the serious issues of conflict, bullying and harassment? The Calgary Consortium for Civility, Respect, and Dignity at Work is a group of professionals who provide a wide range of services in this area. Together, we have developed a model of service interventions that will address the requirements the revised AOHS and assist companies in developing a culture of respect.

Incident Investigation

Situations impacting psychological health and safety may need to be investigated.  Join Janus Associates, Workplace Fairness West, and Committed2Change Consulting as we facilitate a discussion on when to investigate, who should investigate and best practices in investigation.  Many organizations want to support employees during and after an investigation and are seeking options that we will be sharing during our conversation.
